Loch's eyes burned like blue fire in the dim torch light. He walked next to Marcus, his face set to grim purpose, his anger at hearing the tortured souls growing as he imagined his sister as one of them. He scanned the passageway, looking for any traps, magical or otherwise. |

As Myrddin approached carefully, he found nothing of any danger in the hallway, it was quite normal apart from the sorrowful noises. As they came closer, they could see into a larger hall lined with torches and dungeon cells.
The wailing was coming from the cells further down the hall, but the trio could see there were people locked up in quite a few of the cells, all in different stages of dehydration and emaciation. At the end of the long hall, there was a man with his back to them, his attention only on the old man chained to the wall in front of him. The old man was being whipped while his assailant commanded him to tell him the identities of his cohorts. The attacker was a large man wearing a heavy leather apron like a blacksmith. He had a large hammer on his belt and wielded the large braided whip deftly.
The man was about fifty feet down the corridor and was not aware of their presence at the moment. |

Loch slowed his advance when he saw the man. He had never condoned the torture of civilians, and seeing the old man being whipped by this monster fueled his anger. His eyes glowed even brighter, and he began to approach quietly. If he would be able to make it within 30feet of the man without him noticing, Loch was going to magically pin him to the wall. |

The large man jerked his hand back to take another swing at the tortured man, and suddenly lifted off the ground and slammed into the opposite wall. He strained to move, but was held by an invisible force. He began cursing loudly and trying to look at his attacker. The man chained to the wall shuddered and shied away from the trio, fear apparent in his face. |

Marcus clapped Loch on the shoulder as he walked over to the old man. "Watch him and make sure he doesn't move."
Marcus began working on the manacles that held the old man captive. He whispered to the old man, "Don't cry out, keep quiet. We're getting you out of this place." |

Loch slapped the man across the face as hard as he could with a rushing blast of air. "Hush now. We wouldn't want anyone to ruin our party now would we? Now, where is my sister?" |

The man growled at Loch before being smashed in the face with the air. His head whipped around. His head wobbled a little as he turned back to face Myrddin.
"We all got sisters, I ain't paid to keep up with whose is whose." |

The old man cowered as Marcus unchained him. He scurried back in to the corner on his release, covering his open wounds. He didn't say a word, but he looked like he was trying to push his way through the very wall to get out of this dungeon.
The others in their cells reached through the bars, begging to be set free. They were in various states of injury and devastation. Some looked to have been down here for months, some only a short time. So far, Marcus had not seen anyone fitting the description of Lilly. |

Loch made the man scoot even higher up the wall. "Funny, you're paid to get information, and I'm sure you use family as a means of torture." He got close to the man, his eyes like liquid fire, "WHERE IS SHE?!" |

The man's eyes looked around quickly, but then locked back with Myrddin's. "I don't know who your sister is, maybe you should look through the cages for her. I am not your sister's keeper, and this... AIN'T MY PROBLEM." He screamed, throwing his arms out and overpowering his bonds. He dropped to the ground on one knee and looked up at Myrddin, rage seething in his eyes. |

Loch looked him square in the eyes, and he forced himself to a deadly calm. Electricity crackeled down his arms and arced between his fingertips as he stretched out his hands towards the man.
"Give me one good excuse to make you feel the pain you have caused these people."
(Loch is trying to keep the man from attacking, but will not hesitate to kill if he does) |

"I can give you three..." He sneered. He reached back quickly and yanked a chain on the wall. A grate on the wall next to him dropped open and something could be heard running towards them. Suddenly three of these shot out from the wall and into the room.
They stood in front of their master, protecting him from any further harm. |

Marcus' hands went to his axes as he took stock of the setting looking for positioning and any strategic information he could determine...
(Could the GM describe the scene with a bit more detail, including location of key players/non-players?) |

Marcus lunged forward pulling his axes off his belt and attacking the nearest dog with one fluid motion. |

Marcus buried his axes into the ribs of the beast, its murderous screams terrifying those locked up. The beast snapped at him, but as he yanked out the blades, blood began pouring out of the woods, and the creature gasped for air as his lungs filled with fluids. |
