Myrddin, snarled, and his fingers quickly moved. A low hum filled the air, quickly moved to a high pitched scream, and then cracked like a whip as he cast a spell to shock Bowen. (Flashy Approach)

Marcus darted forward and swung with his left hand in a feint maneuver, attempting to use cleverness and guile to put Harkes off his game. He then spun right and brought a back-handed axe slash around with his right hand.
(clever attack maneuver... +2 offsets -2)

Just as Marcus wheeled around, he caught more of Harkes than he expected. Delphine's arm had shot out and blocked Harkes from glancing the blow away. Harkes cursed loudly as he took the shot, pulling his arm back quickly. He turned his attention to Delphine, grabbing her arm. Searing pain shot through her body.

(Delphine sneaky create advantage with style, +2 to Marcus attack on this turn and another turn later (Marcus choice), Marcus attack caused 3 shifts of damage. Harkes then sent 2 shifts of painful damage into Delphine s arm. Cass can take the damage or create a distraction consequence)

Myrddin's electricity sent jolts through Bowen's body, but he would not relent, his grip tightening. He snarled as he headbutted Loch.

(Bowen withstood the stun, +5 vs +3, then loch suffered 3 shifts of damage or consequence +5 vs +2)

Myrddin took the damage, shrugged, looked Bowen right in the eye and started mouthing the words of a spell, but then he just kneed Bowen in the groin (Sneaky attack)

Marcus let out a growl as he raised both axes above his head and brought them down in a forceful x-shaped slash hoping to take Harkes out quickly. (forceful attack + advantage from Delphine = total +5)

Marcus' brought his blades down decisively, rending Harkes' leather armor, and opening up wide gashes across his chest. The copper taste of blood lingered in Marcus' mouth as he sneered at the man in front of him. Harkes stumbled back, his arm still locked with Delphine's.

Delphine's arm stretched out gracefully, her fingertips running down Harkes' temple. Her fingers closed quickly and acted as if drawing a single thread from his mind. Harkes eyelids fluttered for a moment before making eye contact with Delphine, his eyes perplexed and uneasy. He pulled away quickly, waved his hand, and disappeared into the air.

Bowen doubled over, holding his groin and moaning. The attack had caught him completely off guard and he had paid the price for it. He swung wildly, trying to recompose himself, but missed cleanly.

Loch took one step back, electricity forming at his fingertips, and then he quickly stepped back and kicked Bowen's face as the electricity from his hands coursed down to hit foot just as his foot would make contact (flashy attack)

Bowen's skin crackled with the electrical pulse and then he slumped to the ground unconscious. His body landed with a heavy thud, face down.

Delphine hastily grabbed Loch's arm. She dropped to the dirt and began to draw an image. When finished she asked Myrrdin what he knew about the rune.

Loch stared hard at the rune, and he muttered its name in almost a whisper. "It is an ancient symbol from long ago. It means 'blackness.' We are unclear on all of its uses, but it seems to have been somewhat connected with portals."

He looked back at Bowen. "Perhaps this man knows why such a symbol was in his partner's head."

As Myrddin spoke the ancient words, a soft glow spread across the floor, coming from the direction of the display case.

Myrddin quickly stepped inbetween the glow and the Oracle, and as he did so, he quickly made a circle in the air, and the air seemed to shimmer, as he raised cast a spell to raise a shield, and he waited to see what would happen.

Marcus put his axes back in the loops on his belt and moved to stand just behind Loch's shoulder. "What's going on?"

The soft glow pulsed across the floor, then ebbed back from whence it came. Myrddin's eyes followed it to the epicenter, as the glow slowly receded back into the bottom of the case... and disappeared.

Loch frowned. "I'm not sure". Once the glow subsided he cautiously approached the cabinet, alert for any potential dangers
